Arsenal Cider House and Wine Cellar is a small-batch cider manufacturer located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. It is located adjacent to, and named after, the historic Allegheny Arsenal. It was cited by a Canadian newspaper as an example of something that makes Pittsburgh "chic".
It was in 1904 when Ed Welsh founded Natrona Bottling Works just outside of Pittsburgh, in a river bank community named Natrona. Taking the name of the thriving mill town, his goal was to make the best locally crafted beverages made with the finest ingredients. Laying the roots down in a small building on Walnut Street, Natrona Bottling Works rolled off the first bottles of what is still made today, Red Ribbon Cherry Supreme.
PAUL FAMILY FARMS
In 1865, William Paul homesteaded in what became and now is Paul Hollow. Over the last 150 years, the Paul's have lived and partnered with the land. Today when you come up the dirt road, you'll find the 4th generation on the farm, Bim, Judy, Bud and Debby, Tim and Cathie, along with 5th and 6th generation family and of course, our dear friends of the farm. Today we focus on producing small batch wood-fired PA Maple Syrup (with our next big adventure in Honey). We love bringing our farm to your table.
